Can’t get past the 1st screen that says allow for tracking on next screen…

Let Gene & his wife rest in peace. I get it that he was a celebrity but no one needs to know the negative details surrounding their deaths. The family should have privacy to greave. This is classless.

Sunday morning. Wanted to watch CT news. After 16 minutes, I am still watching ads. Shame on you. Someone should be monitoring this.

I dislike that fact that I am not able to make any comments on any of the stories that are on this app.

I have been attempting to register for storm closing but when I search for a business, city or zip code, the app gives just a blank screen.

Not working ,and no explanation on why !!

When you send me news about garbage TV programming I shut you off!

Does not work on iPhone first page shows all the advertisement is that you can allow and then it just sits there

School closings doesn’t let me search for any schools or districts. I’ve tried searching by town, county, zip code… No results come up. Clicking “rate app” also does nothing.

Adds auto play with sound frequently. This causes me to disturb those around me when I click on this app or headlines that pop up

Breaking news headlines on this app are a joke. Nothing but Clickbait.

App opens then works for 20 seconds then crashes Before when it worked, if you move your phone it crashed

I have downloaded and deleted this app a number of times. After loading it goes to a screen that says what to do on the next page and that you can change in the future in settings. It does not go any further, just freezes at that point never allowing you to make selections.

I’m looking for a featured Sunday show and can not find it anywhere. I find shows that are obviously backed by a paid sponsor but cannot even ask the app where to find what I need.

Click-Bait news app. Pop-up ads everywhere which you’re forced to close. Very poor business decision.

It never fails! Whenever the news reporter says that you can find more on the WFSB website, it’s never true! Or not easy to find. For instance, the report about scammers selling someone else’s land. The reporter said that if we want to see if our town is on the list to sign up for Property Check to go to WFSB or to the app. Well where is it? I even tried the search option. Nothing!

i use this app for mostly to check the weather. you guys need to get rid of ads. no reason to have an ad before videos. youtube is bad enough with this garbage

Changed over to the new APP. Couldn’t read an article due to the never ending pop up ads . I tried to make it stop, tried to go back to the old APP nothing. Fix this so I can use this again!!!

The same stories are on here for days. Is there a time limit or could the latest stories be on top? Maybe a couple happy stories so the news isn’t all gloom and doom and death and crime. Not saying no “Dirty Laundry” but maybe sprinkle some good in there. There’s always some good local people doing nice stuff. 😌😌

I can not sign up for my child’s school closings/delays on the app! 🙁

Constant biased reporting from Reuters and the AP. Liberal slant to almost every local story. Shame.

How is it that I keep getting the message my app needs to be updated to see a story???? I keep updating it!!! I close the app, even turn off the phone!!! But.... go to read the story and I get the “your app needs to be updated to see this story!!!!” Please Fix it!!!!!!!!!! 12/5/23 I can’t listen to the stories because the weather and Anchor play constantly. I looked for a means to shut it down So I can watch and listen to the breaking news! Thank you for your assistance. Merry Christmas.

Channel 3 is my favorite news, i just moved and am not able to watch yet because i don’t have cable so this app is awesome! Love you guysss! 🩷

It’s just ad after ad after ad. Some are unskippable, and some force sound on even if you have volume off, which is terrible if you’re in a reception area or somewhere public. Plus, many of the ads seem almost like scams, as if WFSB doesn’t screen them before allowing them to advertise. WFSB has good local coverage, but either watch it or find another way to get your news, because all you’ll get in the app is ads.

Saw her this morning talking about the Dunkin contest go into the app to register for free tickets. I don’t see any where on the app to sign up. Is she scamming us? How do I get my two free tickets?

Using iPhone with notifications. I click on my Lock Screen to see a story only to be brought to ad after ad, some repeated, some in Spanish, but never reaching the story.

I understand what they try to do but I don’t need to know every fender-bender in the state and the nonsensical notifications are so annoying I’ve deleted this app in the past. They need to be a bit more selective on what’s newsworthy or they are wasting my time

This app is awful. There are so many ads that it’s impossible to get to something important without being redirected to other websites. Every time I open this app from a notification it never takes me to the article. I have to click and scroll through multiple ads before I can see anything.

Can only give two stars as breaking news notifications should be breaking news. Updates of names of people on shootings are not breaking news. There are way too many notifications in any given day for updates!!!!

Tons of ads with way too much clickbait taking you to suspicious looking sites. I uninstalled this piece of garbage. Use a paid weather app and CNN for news.

Too many advertisements. But more importantlly….. How about headlining positive stories first. Possibly student/athletes, children enjoying school, kindness for others. Anything other than violence and car crashes and war. Cover that too.. but lead with something uplifting. How about today…rather than dcf connection to car accident and childrens deaths…you lead with photo of kids waiting for the school bus in the wintry sun….then go onto something else. Since you changed the format I absolutely hate even coming on the app! It’s useless now whoever decided to change it & designed it this way needs to go back to its original form from a month ago PLEASE!!!!

The app is great and I do not mind ads at all but cannot seem to control certain ads’ audio

Logged into pizza playoffs second round but it only showed the previous round. Wouldn’t allow me to vote. Sooo how are you to proceed to round 2? Also, on another topic, the Paramount+ app for TV is basically useless. Lately it logs out after about a minute, then you have to relaunch it, lo back to the live Chanel 3 selection, then it will stay on a few minutes, then logs out. It’s the only app on my tv that does this, everything else is fine. Will probably cancel.

This news network by far is one of my favorites. The news covers many events local to me. I can watch the live streams on this app. When I receive alerts, I often click on them to see what the news is. The issue I have is all the ads! I click on one news story, then in the “related” stories or additional news, the stories seem like news, but are ads. I attempt to crawl up the wormhole, only to have to leave the app and start again. Understanding that advertising is an integral part of many applications, if this were a game, the ads would ruin it for me too! Not sure how to have less ads, but this is by far too many for what should be strictly news. Less ads, more stars!

Freezes on start screen

App updated today and now just freezes

Love this app, but recently I can only access it with my cellular data. When trying to access it with my internet, I am receiving an error message saying it cannot access/locate internet. I have an iPhone and Frontier….checked my iPhone settings, modem and all other apps. Restarted my phone…uninstalled the app and reinstalled the app and no luck using your app!

This app shuts off any music I’m listening to when I open it, for which I believe is ridiculous ads. WFSB needs to change this or I’m deleting it.

So many adds pop up it slows the app down and is simply annoying. Got WTNH app after frustration peeked and it is better even though I don’t normally watch that station.

Hard to watch with so many ads in the way

Good coverage and selection of news stories. Actually despite national choices I access WFSB first. Would like fewer “pop ups” and “advertorials” but “hey” you have to make a living. Keep up the New Haven area coverage so at least a modicum of hopeful reporting can work to offset Hartford’s struggles. Some political digging is not inexpensive but it restores your readers’ perception that not only cut and paste is at work. Keep up the good work! Dave Smith Wallingford, CT

My app said there is not connection on internet

Would like to see the format changed. Many times can I get into a video. Scrolling takes too long. I have many times try to search only to receive a cannot be found notice. Irritating. I follow a out-of-state station called WMUR and they have a wonderful format and many different sections which offer different types of subjects. Might want to check that out. It’s very appealing. Like to add that there are too many ads and too many notifications about the same thing just written a different way. Multiple weather alerts over the same thing repeatedly. Annoying and totally unnecessary. Many of those can be cut out. basically everything is just messed up and looks confusing
